Massachusetts Identity Theft Regulations, 201 CMR 17 was recently postponed from January 1st to March 1, 2010. The new law requires businesses to take significant measures to protect personal information. What do you need to know about protecting information for your business? How should you advise clients to protect their customer information? What technologies are needed for compliance? How will you know if your technology vendors and web services are in compliance? Learn from a technical perspective what to do to prepare for compliance with this new law. Stuart Zimmerman and Daryl Rinaldi will provide an overview of the issues and discuss how they help their clients implement practical solutions.

Stuart Zimmerman, Principal at CCZ Consulting, has over twenty years of experience in Technology Leadership and Management in a wide variety of businesses. He assists companies with sales above $5 million in IT Strategy and Management as a Virtual CIO. He was a Director of Information Technology at Travelers Advantage, was CIO at Brand Direct Marketing, was SVP of Technology at Grand Circle Travel, and has consulted to a wide variety of businesses including Priceline and Waterhouse Securities. He received an MBA from the Wharton School and a JD from The George Washington University.

Daryl Rinaldi, CEO of GizmoFish, LLC started his career as an engineer for Intel Corp. After a variety of executive positions at high-tech companies in the Silicon Valley and the greater Boston area, Daryl founded GizmoFish to provide IT support for small to mid-size businesses.
