If you think image doesn't affect your law practice, think again! Will improving your image increase your bottom line? What do lawyers need to know about fashion? Learn the key elements of making a great impression and simple techniques to increase your cash flow through networking. Presentation given by Emmi Sorokin, founder of It's a Man's World Image Consulting, the only wardrobe and style consulting service exclusively for men in Boston.

Born in Moscow, Ms. Sorokin, managed retail stores for a decade, studied Fashion Design and finished her retail tenure at Louis, Boston. Ms. Sorokin started her first business at 25 (an IT consulting company)and sold it at 30. Her passion is helping people succeed. Emmi coached business owners to meet their goals and become masterful at building and managing teams. In 2005, she started a referral networking group (a la BNI style) that generated over $100k in business for the participants.

The format will be a one-hour meeting from 8:00-9:00am (arrive at 7:30 for networking). A half-hour of networking after the meeting would be optional.

The Business Lawyers Network (BLN) is comprised of lawyers concentrating in complementary disciplines such as corporate, securities, commercial contracts, government contracts, secured lending, taxes, import/export, immigration, real estate, environmental, patents, trademarks, licensing, etc. Non-lawyer business professionals are also welcome, but the topic and focus of discussion will be geared toward the legal profession.
