Recommendations for retirement benefits for small company?
Posted September 9th, 2009 by Roger Glovsky
We have a client who is looking for recommendations for a financial advisor to help their company develop a retirement benefits strategy (401K and pensions) and advise us on tax implications. They would preferably like to work with an "independent consultant".
If any of you have financial advisors that you would recommend, please post a comment here or send email to me at roger@ivlo.com.

I recently worked with a small client in establishing a new 401(k) plan. Of the vendors I spoke with, here are the 3 who are independent advisors. The client ultimately went with American Fiduciary Corp (http://www.afcpensions.com/) so they could keep an existing relationship with Charles Schwab for reasonable cost:
Bickling Financial
Spencer Betts, financial planner
781-862-9792
(referred by Bill Colangeli, CPA)
Cornerstone Financial
Michael Ross, advisor
781-229-0777
(referred by HR colleague)
Kenneth D Anderson, financial planner
978-371-1544
(referred by the client)
Let me know if any additional information is needed.
