Here is an ABA article that reviews a free solution called "folder share," which could help to synchronize client files:

My partner and I have also been looking at NetDocuments, which is endorsed by Lexis-Nexis. Has anyone tried it?

I use ibackup, www.ibackup.com, to back up my hard drive every night. It also has password-protected filesharing capabilities, at various price points, depending on how much space/functionality you need. One added benefit is that I can access any document from any computer/device with an internet connection.
