Short Biography: 
MICHAEL HOLIDAY is the principal of Holiday Law Firm P.C. located in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts, where his practice areas include commercial office and retail leasing, commercial real estate development, real estate finance, banking law, secured lending, corporate law, insurance law, finance law and franchise law. Mr. Holiday is admitted to practice in Massachusetts. He has extensive experience as a commercial real estate attorney with a boutique commercial leasing practice involving office, retail and industrial properties, drawing on his prior experiences as an in-house senior real estate attorney for a major national retail chain, as an in-house title insurance attorney, as a real estate broker and as an incorporator of a bank, in addition to being in private practice for many years representing developers, multinational corporations, as well as regional and national retailers. Mr. Holiday is a member of: the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC); the New England Corporate Counsel Association (NECCA); the Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts (REBA) where he sits on its Leasing Committee and its Commercial Real Estate Finance Committee; and the Boston, Massachusetts and American Bar Associations. He earned his B.A. degree from Tufts University in Economics (1977) and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the New England School of Law (1983), where he was a member and case editor for the New England Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement. He also went on to earn his LL.M. degree from Boston University School of Law, Morin Center for Banking Law Studies (1987). He frequently lectures for Lorman Educational Services and MCLE. In his practice, he represents corporations and national retail chains, as well as lending institutions, franchisees and franchisors in their acquisition, management, leasing and disposition of their commercial real estate assets and liabilities.
