I began practicing in 2007, primarily working in foreclosures and evictions. Now starting my own practice, I am focusing on patent procurement.

I have been practicing employment law for 14 years in Massachusets (1 1/2 in Minnesota prior to that). I recently left Burns & Levinson and joined a 3 person firm located in Woburn, MA. While I grew up in the area and am working a lot of my personal contacts, I am thrilled to join BLN to speak with, meet and learn from other business lawyers in Boston and the surrounding area.

Jessica Foley is an experienced trial attorney concentrating her practice in family law, personal injury and criminal defense. Ms. Foley is a former Assistant District Attorney in Plymouth County where she prosecuted felonies and misdemeanors from arraignment through trial and has represented the Commonwealth in the Massachusetts Appeals Court from 2001 until 2005. In handling Divorces, Custody Issues and Personal Injury cases Ms. Foley works closely with her clients to help them achieve their goals as a litigator and mediator. Attorney Foley graduated from Northeastern University School of Law (J.D. 2001) and Smith College (B.A. Biochemistry 1997). She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the United States District Court. She is a member of the Norfolk County Bar Association, the Quincy Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association. Specialties: criminal defense, oui defense, divorce, child support, paternity, prenuptial agreements, speeding tickets, personal injury, license law, registry of motor vehicle hearings, administrative hearings, mediation, family law, and juvenile defense.

Specialized in Civil and Commercial Law, Litigation and Arbitration. From the academic year 2003/2004 he has collaborated with the Chair of Procedura civile, as voluntary assistant in Diritto dell'esecuzione civile at the University of Parma. He has covered an assignment for teaching civil and processual law, with an integrating contract for the academic year 2004/05 to 2005/2006, holding a course of lectures at Scuola di specializzazione in sanità animale, allevamento e produzioni zootecniche of Facoltà di Medicina Veterinaria. He has collaborated with the reviews "Obbligazioni e Contratti", “Famiglia, persone e successioni”, "Studium iuris", "Rivista giuridica sarda", where he has published various articles on civil law, corporate law, international law, arbitration and litigation.
