Regardless of whom I meet or what I do or what I have become it is the friends, I grew up, that I feel, though we don't see each other often, when we do, it is as though we were always together, so comfortable, so natural, so honest, I guess FRIENDS are my favorites.

MICHAEL HOLIDAY is the principal of Holiday Law Firm P.C. located in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts, where his practice areas include commercial office and retail leasing, commercial real estate development, real estate finance, banking law, secured lending, corporate law, insurance law, finance law and franchise law. Mr. Holiday is admitted to practice in Massachusetts. He has extensive experience as a commercial real estate attorney with a boutique commercial leasing practice involving office, retail and industrial properties, drawing on his prior experiences as an in-house senior real estate attorney for a major national retail chain, as an in-house title insurance attorney, as a real estate broker and as an incorporator of a bank, in addition to being in private practice for many years representing developers, multinational corporations, as well as regional and national retailers. Mr. Holiday is a member of: the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC); the New England Corporate Counsel Association (NECCA); the Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts (REBA) where he sits on its Leasing Committee and its Commercial Real Estate Finance Committee; and the Boston, Massachusetts and American Bar Associations. He earned his B.A. degree from Tufts University in Economics (1977) and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the New England School of Law (1983), where he was a member and case editor for the New England Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement. He also went on to earn his LL.M. degree from Boston University School of Law, Morin Center for Banking Law Studies (1987). He frequently lectures for Lorman Educational Services and MCLE. George R. Halsey counsels start-up companies and individuals in all aspects of technology licensing, marketing and distribution. As a former General Counsel of SunExpress, a subsidiary of Sun Microsystems, an Associate General Counsel of Sun Microsystems and Honeywell, Inc., he was a lead legal negotiator in technology acquisition, licensing, distribution, trans-national transactions and multi-party tax leveraged transactions including transactions in excess of $250 million. Elected chairperson of the Boston Bar Association, Computer Law and Internet Committee, he is a speaker on topics of intellectual property law and legal issues in the life cycle of technology products. He was a founding member of the American Committee for Interoperable Systems (ACIS) which influenced changes in US, European and Japanese copyright law culminating in international treaties promoted by the World Intellectual Property Organization portions of which are included in the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998. He was a member of the legal steering committee that launched the Infiniband Trade Association, (IBM, Sun, Dell, HP and Intel) that defined new standards for high bandwidth interoperable systems. In addition to technology legal matters, he has successfully resolved a Securities and Exchange Commission investigation, a European Commission anti-dumping claim of significant magnitude and a number of high level executive employment issues. Mr. Halsey started his legal career as a “first chair” trial and appellate lawyer on numerous civil and criminal jury trials and seven precedent setting appellate cases. A graduate of Harvard College, he earned his JD from the Boston University School of Law.

My practice concentrates in real estate, corporate, trust and estate, and personal injury law. I possess extensive experience in both commercial and residential real estate transactions and condominium conversions, as well as corporate law, business formation, business mergers and acquisitions, estate planning, and trust and estate matters.
